How to approve posts on a page

I have just taken over responsibility for a Facebook page for a charity. I'm new to the "page" concept, as I'm just a standard user.
It was set up as a standard user (admin) and then a "Page" was created (shortcut) for this.
When I log on, I am taken to the standard user (admin) and navigate from there to the "Page".
Somebody posted to the page and I replied, but it is not appearing on the page.
When I click on the "globe" notification symbol, there is a message there that says "the Charity Page has 1 post by Joe Bloggs to approve. To review posts, visit activity logs"
When I click on Activity Log, there is no post.
When I go to the "Page" and click on "Notifications", I get the same message as above.
How do I approve?
