What new folk bands are there with a bit of energy\rawness

Hi everyone, I keep selecting folk as a genre on the various online listening platforms (i.e. soundlcloud, spotify) because I really want to discover some new artists... but want some energy and rawness, not this slow, watery 'indie-folk' that is saturating the sites. bands more like Tom O Reilly and the Swaggers (look them up on soundcloud, or their psychedelic flower vid on youtube) also really getting into Neutral Milk hotel - a bit of oddity and grit and Sheelanagig's earlier stuff (fantastic violin player,). Any leads welcome....
