The time I wet my pants in the middle of a post. God! I was mortified! :wink:

I have had my share of most embarrassing moments,
unfortunately all in real life.

Ya don't even need to miss a page or 2 of replies ... spend a few minutes craftin' a brilliant riposte, hit reply, watch the page unfold, and discover that in the meanwhile, somebody's gone and posted somethin' that renders your comment anywhere from irrelevant to downright embarrassin' as all gitout

'nother one that catches me all the time is noticin' a boneheaded typin' error right after submittin' a post, jumpin' right back into "Edit" to correct the screwup, and comin' back to find somebody's already quoted the damned thing.

Yes - but at least you can still prove that you can spell.

Not like on Abuzz.

Mind you, that gave rise to lots of fun traditions, like Bavk and such.

Something to do with a broom closet....

People like me who edit AFTER I post, even though I've thought I've edited while I post, and then after again... find a certain pleasure in the word culling process but by the time I've worked out the words, two pages have passed..

The story behind the problem is that I find out what I am thinking right around the time you do.

I do hate the editing thing..to turn around find out that a page or two has gone by and someone has done posted exactly what you were saying...lol
