Hello to all. I am reaching out to whoever has a similar situation. I have always wanted to be a nurse. From the moment I could read I knew this was my passion. However I have never had any support of living outside of the bow. By saying this I mean every one has told me that their is no way I will ever become a nurse or they questioned why would I want to be a nurse. I let others opinion control me for the pass 13 years. In that 13 years I gave birth to five children. The support is still the same however I know that I am in charge of my own destiny. Nursing school might be tough but I am up for the challenge and nothing can stop me but a higher power! Anyone out here that is attending nursing school or thinking bout it please share your journey with me. I need positivity and encouragement too surround every fiber of my being. Thank you.

Good luck, and don't overlook the possibility of qualifying by way of community college. I don't know about other states but it qualifies you for the boards in new mexico.

Nursing is one of the noblest professions there is. You can do anything you set your mind to. Good luck!

I took my teas and passed it with flying colors. I'm so excited😁 it's definitely time for a change I can feel it in the atmosphere.
