I have been seeing a guy for about 7 months, and we've had a long distance relationship for a few months. But since he has been back, he has been distant. Distant by only seeing me once or twice a week, and just for a little. Then he just hangs out with his guy friends the remaining of the time. He has told me he sees a promising future with me, and has given me expensive jewelry, and I can tell he is interested in me. However, I have this feeling he is hiding something about his life. I know for sure it's not another girl, but for some reason I think he might be hiding that he has a drug addiction. What would be some signs when your significant other is a drug addict?

How do you know for sure it isn't another girl? I feel that's a more likely explanation.

Because people say he's a nice guy, and he always reassures me there isn't anyone else, and I do believe him with that. He is a really nice guy. But people who used to know him says he parties a lot & does a lot, and I'm wondering if he has a drug problem.

Bring it up in conversation, ask his opinion on marijuana, etc. Be sure to speak frankly about your opinions on drug use. You could also point out what you see as kind of sketchy behavior and see what he has to say.
