Hi
Can someone please advise me how to improve the grammar/style of the following exercise (for a mid-high school level):

"A school lab is using a petri dish to grow bacteria in an experimental project.
The amount of bacteria is growing by 3000 every minute. How many bacteria will be in the dish 7 from now if currently there are 8000"

Kind Regards,
Nate

1. The number of bacteria is growing by 3000 (a number) every minute.

2. 7 from now... 7 what? Minutes? Hours? Days?
