Well, everything that appears in the article is right, I know this just from my personal experience, leave alone health-related articles I have ever read. But, unfortunately, the article contains nothing new: I guess, everyone knows this...

That is Letty's point, steissd. She's asking if we have found other bits of 'news' that aren't new to us, but are presented as NEWS.

It is a hoax, but not the medical one, it is rather mystical.

steissd, baby, we gotta get you enrolled in some kinda irony class. "Recognizing Irony 101." Class materials: Seinfeld episodes, The Onion, "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" -- any other ideas, folks?

sozobe, I've been trying to think of some of the Australian/Brit comedies that might help steissd out with some of this. Then i realized that trying to explain the 'meaning' of AbFab would probably kill me. Shocked

Letty - take a look at my new thread about great medical advances of the 20th century - it's got some more interesting Centre for Disease Control links in it.

It surely will. The only condition is presence of vampires in Connecticut; otherwise there will be no one to keep away.

I know about those shades...expensive.

I also know that "already" and "all ready" have two entirely different meanings; just as all right and alright.

Alltogether, now:
Tie me Kangaroo down, sport.
Tie me Kangaroo down.

Where the smurf is Deb?

Where did Soz, go?

Do you know who ferried the boat on the River Styx? That boat was full of shades.
