No. It needs a period/full stop after the closing parenthesis. Where the main sentence is a statement, it takes a period/full stop outside the closing parenthesis no matter what punctuation is included inside the parenthetical element.
She worked as an executive in the automotive industry (at Ford) and in the tech sector (at Yahoo!).
My friends are horrified (what a mess the situation is!).
