i was let go from my job they say because i have too many health problems and the only health problems that i have is diabetes

What country are you in? Did they give you anything in writing? What sort of job? This is way too vague an assertion for anyone to advise you.

I agree - in the US you should be protected from losing your job for health reasons. So I think it would be helpful if you were to tell us where you are living.

I know I filled out a Family Leave Medical form when my daughter was going to have surgery as I would need time off to care for her and here and there time to bring her to appointments for follow up. My current manager was good about it - but it is called CYA (in other words - with all the turmoil at work I didn't want it to hurt me in any way).

In Britain you can be medically retired which is another way of saying fired because you took too many sick days, when you had a genuine illness. They have to pay you 1 weeks pay for every year you have been there. I think most countries allow firing for incapability.

1. Are you taking X number of days off; leaving work early; coming in late; etc... because of you diabetes?
2. How do they know you have any medical conditions?
3. Why aren't you going straight to an attorney specializing in employment and worker rights?

In the UK membership of a trade union gives you free access to solicitors who specialise in employment and worker rights.
