@FreudSlip,
theres also the golden mean that defines spacing in a new state of matter for which a Nobel Prize in chemistry was awarded in 2011.
Spacing of quasi crystals is an entirely new state of matter of non repeating chemical structure (They always use the wall pattern from the Alhambra to explain this structure).

We can go on all day in posting xamples, I jut want to know how you consider it "divine" Ya know, you seem to deny the refinement of phi by successive ratios of fibonacci sums with the adjacent higher number yet, in your opening pix, you use the exact graphical representation of fibonacci squares to define your "Golden mean on Mars" hypothesis.

Like set showed, the golden mean you propose , seems to lose impact when its based on a "fce" thats merely a product of high angle satellite imagery and not intelligent sculpture

@FreudSlip,
We have tables and graphical means available in carpentry that enable us to create cabinet doors , "paw feet", chair splats and drawer widths based on the golden mean.

George Nakashima was always mindful of slipping in a golden mean measurement or two on his craftsman tables and chairs. Shaker hall cabinets all were made with a golden mean set of drawers that sometimes just left the golden men a bit to provide something more interesting( seems that they always didnt buy that it was the most pleasing assemblage for drawer fronts)

@FreudSlip,
My argument for the divinity of phi is that it can only be seen(light). You cannot use phi with it's non-terminating, non-repeating decimal trailing on forever<-- in a computer, or on paper. It wouldn't fit any computer we could conceive, or the oceans of paper to write upon. Smile

@FreudSlip,
why is phi any different than pi or tau? (or Tau's Feynman point?)

@farmerman,
Let me back up and say that just discovered this information a few months ago. My mind started churning and this is how far I am. Pi is similar and perhaps more fundamental, I believe. Here's a great pic that shows the information optained from just the first two stages of creation. The "flower of life" and "metrons cube" could possibly hold all of the information of the universe . I'm looking into it..lol Smile http://www.smeddum.net/images/articles/vesica_pisces.gif
