Do I hate myself THIS much?
I managed to watch two consecutive movies starring former football a**hole Brian Bosworth, a.k.a. "The Boz."
Does anyone remember that dipsh*t?
Yes that's right, I laid on my couch for possibly four hours straight, four intense hours of THE BOZ.
This was the first time I had ever seen his 80s SMASH, "Stone Cold." Or was it early 1990s? I was young when it came out. If you haven't seen this movie, it essentially consists of the poster boy for the Aryan Nation on steroids (The BOZ), rocking a serious mullet, and parading it around on a motorcycle. He is an "edgy" undercover cop who infiltrates the most generic possible motorcycle gang, "The Brotherhood."
With all the leather and muscles and male on male contact (granted, they're "fighting") it all looks like a lot of gay German porn smattered with the worst/best one-liners ever, e.g. "These are my colors, and these colors don't run."
You may ask yourself, how does Gargamel know what gay German porn is like? He must watch it constantly.
Wrong, my friends. Dead wrong. I STAR in gay German Porn.
Let me get to the point. Is there a bigger asshole than Brian Bosworth?
I always hated Dolph Lundgren...
Rumor has it that gay German porn film stars who watch Brian Bosworth movies are the biggest ***** of all.
Or maybe its that they have the biggest ***** of all.....
did you ever do any work with tht Austrian guy?
Well, did you....girly man?
Bosworth was drafted by the Seahawks and flamed out really fast. A lasting image: Bo Jackson running over Bosworth into the end zone...
I can't believe you missed all the nuances in"Cold".
The cinematography, editing and choreography were outstanding!

Really? So those are the kind of sordid rumors that go around in the steamrooms of the men's athletic clubs you frequent in the greater Portland area?
That's VERY interesting.
And just a little bit sad.

Well, you know, these esoteric art flicks are just way over my head.
Who gave us the expression stone cold by the way?
Shakespeare in Henry V (2:3): "Cold as any stone."
If you enjoyed the D-bag known as BOZ, you'll surely enjoy this quality flick:

First the version I watched. I'm Italian and this movie has never come to Italy (why???), so I've watched the Polish version of it: it has no subtitles and it's not dubbed; there's just some Polish guy who translate what the actors are saying covering their voices. So it's like watching a movie with someone talking over it. Poor thing since I can't speak Polish.
However, the movie's great and I REALLY enjoied it. Come on, it's all a parody, like when the guyz come to town at the beginning, with all the people dumb-watching them from the sides of the street.
Vanilla Ice can't act and he's just making fool of himself. That's the point. Look at the other rapper movies: Eminem and all the crap out there, they're always the same gangsta-getto movie turned around again and again.
Here Vanilla makes his way into the white middle-class America and actually gets his space despite his absurd pants and lousy "Drop that zero..." lines.
I love this movie, it's a comedy and it works as a comedy!
Rappers are ridiculous and that's movie show what rap should be all about; and yeah, Eminem will never be better than "Ninja Rap" Vanilla Ice. YO!
Here's a photo for Algis... I couldn't find a better spot to put it. I see a face there in the rock and thought you might like it for your faces in the rocks collection. However, your myths thread is locked, so here it is.
(I agree though, re. Brian Bosworth -- I wonder if his mother loves him?)
Hee Hee. I didn't realize Vanilla Ice was hanging around our burgh until my g/f's 18 year old brought home his autograph a couple of days ago. And the big news this week was the rounding up of an errant goat and kangaroo belonging to: you guessed it, Vanilla Ice.
