Hello all...
i have brought a new small compressor (1/10 hp) wiring it to a big ac capacitor then compressor start normally , after 15 sec the compressor generate a smoke air , high heat and fail ! ..after testing ..the start coil have no reading.. i have two thought about the fail cause: 1) big capacitor may affect the start coil. 2) the service(process) stub was open i didnt close it ...is capacitor can affect the compressor ?

Contact the seller and get the right capacitor, before you burn something out.
Also make certain you are not trying to run a 110 unit on 220 electricity.

The compressor rated 220 v and i use the same voltage

So likely it's the capacitator.
