Hi.
I'm a software develop that is trying to develop a software for Geology.
Can someone explain how the salt dynamics (in geologic time) in reservoir understanding? When someone simulates the salt dynamics in a given reservoir, what he is trying to understand?

you talking diapirs? If so, why not look up the LUANN SALT in the Gulf of Mexico.

Other diapirs exist throughout the world but this one is well studied
