Does anyone know more complex facts about the platypus
The platypus is a monotreme, meaning one hole. The one hole is the cloaca, a common duct of the urinary, reproductive, and the digestive systems. The monotremes have this in common with birds and reptiles. Monotremes are also egg layers.
