In the summer we have like 30 degrees here , and i am working in a car wash so the feet gets wet and i have problem with fungus.
I am wondering what shoes should i buy?
My requirements or my condition for the shoes is probably if those rules apply to them that you recommend:
1.I want my feet to feel the air because if they are closed it would be too hot inside and that would still cause me problems.
2.I don't want them to get wet.
3.I want to be able to run with those shoes because i would wash cars and then i would go put patrol Gas.
Thank you for your time.
@TheUninvited,
Your feet are going to get wet if you don't wear anything waterproof. Can you wear sandals (no socks)? And periodically dry your feet with a small hand towel?
The problem with fungus is likely when your socks get wet and don't dry out ... so your feet remain for extended periods of time in the hot damp socks. An alternative is to bring extra dry socks for you to change into as the shift goes by. But that will just be a pain in the tuchas ... carrying the extra socks and doing the extra laundry.
@tsarstepan,
I think you have a point and i like to hear more from you if possible let me ask another question.
What if i buy a waterproof shoe or waterproof socks but would that be possible with the hot wheather?
If there is no solution i better buy the crocks and using the towel
You must cover your toes. In fact your boss may require construction style footware.
Get tall boots. Change socks to ensure your feet stay dry.

I don't know about you ... but the idea of waterproof shoes or socks in that hot of weather is making my feet sweat just reading about it. That basically will bring the same consequences of foot fungus and such as if your feet was steeped in car wash water throughout the day. Not failing to mention that your internal body temp will also rise a bit given your feet will be encased in airproof (waterproof is airproof and airproof means no air circulation at all) containers as well.
@tsarstepan,
i see, thanks for the answer.
So is better to go with crocs right?
