Does the order in which people appear on your Facebook stories section mean anything?

Like there is a picture of you in the stories section of Facebook but then you have a group of your friends that have their pictures showing as well even if they have not posted a Facebook story. The first friend that appears next to my picture is always the same person. And the second friend is always the same. What does that mean?
