Hello, I stumbled upon a question that I've had trouble with and I dont know what I'm doing wrong. Anything will help
Question:You are to choose between 2 different bands: Aero-Rap charges a rate of $470 and then $1.25 per ticket to play for the evening. Mosaic charges $350 plus $2.00 for each ticket sold. Write linear equations showing the cost for each band. Graph each of your lines to determine when the costs will be equal. Use substitution and elmination to verify your solultion from the graph is correct
- my equations : y=1.25x+470
and y=2x+350
-for substitution im unsure if you would substitute a number in for x
-im also unsure on how i would graph and recieve and intersection point from the lines
-x=number of people and y=cost
-Anything will help since this question confuses me
