Had made a burger from pre formed pick of patties. After it was cooked I bit into it and saw it was red but few seconds later turned brown. Never noticed something like that happening.

I ate it about an hour ago and nothing yet. Guess I'll know later tonight

The burger will still cook even after its removed from heat if you get the internal liquids hot enough. So you can go from pink to brown if it got hit E enough and you remove it at the right moment.

Hamburger is bad to consume pink.

Thanks for reply. Well I understand that, I usually check using a thermometer just to make sure, and normally I buy my ground beef from a butcher and form my patties myself, but this time just bought a small pack of patties. Just never seen it go from pink to dark after taking a bite of it.

@ojosh089,
The pink to brown is due to oxidation. It even happens with raw meat. It won't hurt you either way.
