I'm a retired landscape architect from the US. Different states have different requirements re testing. California, where I lived and worked, had a state board of landscape architecture, and people could call or write them for details. That was a while ago; by now there probably is a lot of information available online.
I don't know about european schools, but I assume there are some very good ones.
