First off, I'm not much of a forum user, so my initial apologies on whether I am doing this correctly or not.
So, I'm a female in my mid to late 20s. Throughout my sexual history, I have always found the female form astonishingly beautiful. I find myself being turned on more by women than men, and even use lesbian porn more frequently when masturbating. I have had sex with one woman and I enjoyed it very much. I've had sex with many more men, and I enjoy that, as well.
I find myself recently wanting more sexual encounters with women, yet only actively seeking a relationship with men.
I suppose my question, if there is any answer, is this: what is the difference between romantic and sexual attraction? What is it inside of me that longs for a woman, yet only wants to be romantically involved with men? Maybe there is no answer. Just looking for opinions, advice, or just a place to actually put this because I don't have anyone to ask.
What do you mean by "romantic relationship"? Candle-light dinners, flowers, dates? Or do you mean something like a long-term family type relationship? Does the element of bearing children figure in what you are speaking of? Would your family/friends etc be comfortable if you were in an open same-sex relationship?

I guess by a "romantic relationship" I mean someone to spend my life with. A person to share my life with, grow old, wake up next to. My family would not be accepting of this, but I'm starting to get over that.
