Basic summary: A Mr. Lorne Grabher was told his vanity license plate bearing his last name was being revoked due to a complainant fearing misogyny.
Opinions?
Licensing authorities do tend to be on the conservative side when it comes to plates that could spell out controversial stuff like racist slurs, obscenities, blasphemy, hate or toilet words. I can see why 'grabher' could be seen as misogynistic, and I think that guy will just have to suck it up. Not his fault that he was born with that name, sure, and I guess he could start a business and put a big board up with GRABHER on it if he wanted. I don't think this is a seruious freedom of speech issue.
