Start by providing a few clues about your age, height, gender, current weight, activity level, and fitness level. Oh, and how much you think you need to lose. Because a 5-pound loss for a 16-year-old girl who's on the track team at school is going to be rather different from a 180-pound loss for a 55-year-old man coming off a heart attack.
