In Edge of Tomorrow, Rita says Cage she "lost" the power to restart the day by dying after she got the blood of someone else... How is she supposed to know it ?
Did she try to die after this transfusion ? If yes,why is she still alive ? If no, how could she know she lost the power ?

Didn't they say they could "feel" it when it was gone? I can't remember, it's been a while since I saw it.
