I suddenly am experiencing extremely limited functionality on FB

I can comment on other's posts, but can no longer post to my own page nor share with anyone, neither from within FB, nor from an outside source, such as when attempting to post/share an article from a news source via the FB link button. I have submitted some sternly-worded, yet absolutely profanity- and threat-free comments on leading GOP/Conservative officials' FB pages in the past few months--could I have been shut down for these? And, if yes, how can I restore functionality?
