@Sturgis,
I like fennel as, in my yard some years ago, quite lovely, and fennel seeds go into some of my odd breads, once in a while. But we surely have different taste buds, not to mention sense of smell. I have some fennel as a plant from the grocery store in my fridge now, waiting for me to do something with it.

So, do you like flannel?

No, I can't say what year it was that I stopped wearing argyle socks. I did wear flannel shirts for a while after that, just not those red and black plaids.

@jespah,
I'm sentimental. I took my mother there on our last trip back to Boston, having then no clue about Alzheimers. That trip exploded any sense I had of her being ok.

I took her there to eat, I took her to Harvard, just at the entry as I wanted to see it. She refused to meet her lifetime best friend (the reason I got us tickets to go from California to Boston, after my father died.)

I still have a faded photo from that trip. Much travail later, but as bad as it was, I'm settled that we tried.
(thank you for asking, am not being sarcastic)

Do you ever cook Farro?

How do you feel about Fanny Brice?

Kinda looks like Mayim Bialik there. I bet Bialek could make a non-singing biopic of Brice.

Speaking of evil, how about Lillian Gish and her good ole boy friends in The Birth of a Nation?
