I get a Mail message from my No. 2 Son but without then replying, go do something else. Now though, when I come back to my Inbox meaning a reply, it's gone. So wondering if anyone else has had this prob

It's usually because I deleted it and forgot that I had done so.

Cen yu might be onto something. So I tried it deliberately, and sure enough it came up under 'Trash,' though not at the top where I had expected it
