Can anyone please help me with a few clue

14d Most orderly (??S?E??)
12d Persecutor (??H?U?ER)
109d Was equivalent (to) (AM?U?ER)
116d Defeat in ballot (??T?B?E)
l think some could be wrong but would be grateful for any help.

Thank you James34, l know that some of my letters have gotten mixed up. l have not had a lot of time to do the puzzles as my hubby has been in and out of hospital a lot of late, and l have not had any concentration to do anything.Once again Thank You. ttfn

Just looked again, if 11a is -hitlist- and 14d is -neatest-. lt is wrong because if 11a ends in a T, then 14d should start with a T not an N, will keep looking.Got it, 14d is TIDIEST.
