Do such mature leukocytes as basophils, mast cells, eosinophils, macrophages, neutrophils, dendritic cells, Plasma Cells, B cells and T cells have nutritional requirements as other somatocytes, i.e. do they still consume such basic nutrients as carbohydrates, aminos, lipids, vitamins and minerals from their surroundings while circulating in the blood stream or after maturing in tissue, or do they simply retain any nutrients from development during their life span?
In the former case, how do their individual consumption needs change through development phases, i.e. are there any differences in what they consume as a stem cell, pluripotent progenitor, mature leukocyte in circulation and lastly after activation?
