Facebook page: can I changemy cintent

Is this a professional page like for a company, or is it your own wall?

It's a company-produced site that I work with.

Okay, if the company has created the site (i. e. they create a site for the musicians who work with them, or something like that), then you will need to talk to them and ask them directly before you try to fiddle with anything.

So I will continue under the assumption you have permission to change things. Understand that these instructions are deliberately a little vague because FB constantly changes settings and it moves stuff around because they test their product 24/7. Hence if I tell you a control is on the right, that might be correct for me but incorrect for you, or it might not be correct in 6 months.

Now, you have a few options these days. One is to not allow anyone to post to the page's wall other than you or anyone you bring on to help you administer the page. The good news is that gives you control over the content, while the bad is that you might get more engagement if you give your fans some power. In addition, limiting who can post will curtail spam, but it won't eliminate it, as you might post something and then get a spammy response. Limiting who can post just means you limit who can create an initial post, but it does not control who can answer a post.

You also have tabs, and you can create more if you need to. Some of those are pretty self-explanatory. Maybe you want to upload sheet music to the files section or devote a tab to links to your YouTube videos.

You can also change your background image and even the profile shot. If it's just you, then I recommend a different image than the one you use for your personal page so you don't get confused when you're in a rush.
