As my grammar tutor taught me, every verb after preposition should be in "V+ing form".
Is it correct to write: He is absorb in exercising.
What about this sentence: He is absorb in his exercise.

@Tofail,
He is absorbed in exercising.

He is absorbed in his exercise. (exercising would also be acceptable.)

@hightor,
Thanks for your response.
What if I wrote: He is absorbed in exercise. I hope you will also explain the grammatical fact why I have to use 'absorbed'.

@Tofail,
"He is absorbed in exercise" is fine.

"Is", in this case, functions as an auxiliary (or helping) verb. "Is absorbed" is known as a verb phrase.
