Help with Wine Tasting Wording -- France or French

Hi, I'm planning a wine tasting event based on The Judgment of Paris, a famous wine tasting event in Paris in which the judges unknowingly tasted California and French wines. And the California wines won! This was a big deal because they looked down on California wines at the time. So my wording for my invite is: You're invited to the Judgment of Paris -- an Exclusive California vs. France Wine Tasting. Is this correct? In my mind it's a competition between the State and the Country and I'm trying to emphasize this. Or should it be an exclusive French vs. California Wine Tasting -- I think this is correct but in my mind it loses that competitive edge. Any thoughts appreciated on what's best.

Either France or French would be equally suitable. Unless you are stupid, you are just comparing wines, not the comparative worth of a state versus a country, so maybe 'French' has a slight edge.

Why? Wine does not make a country or state better than another.

Notes that France is to California as French is to Californian with a plum palate and acidic finish.
