I would like to ask you a question. If I want to say that a situation/an activity happened in a certain place, without mentioning the time of this situation/activity, can I use Present Perfect?

For example, can I say:
“Similar experiments have been conducted in the USA.”

Or rather:
“Similar experiments were conducted in the USA.”

@Nat093,
Yes, you CAN use present perfect. It requires two verbs. So use "have been conducted."
