Facebook problem with notification including videos

When I receive a notification of a post with a video at the top I am not able to go to the thread but am taken to a screen with the video, taking up about 3/4 of my screen, and the first post in that thread. I am unable to see further posts. This only seem to happen when I have replied to a post based on a video. Is there anything I can do about this?
