I'v e long asserted how after a new product or writing how the typical firm issues thousands or millions a new product without first submitting to one or two Average Clods (me) for obvious errors or omissions, eg, Black & Decker HandiSaw that hardly cuts anything bigger or harder than 1/4-in. bamboo, and a thumb release that you can't reach with your index on the trigger

...wondering howe many they fielded before finally discontinuing it

Webster's Collegiate Thesaurus 1976 is missing literally hundreds of words if not thousands A term like "assertion," eg, might have one or more meanings not obvious from or covered under "assert"

In fact on its front in pencil I found a dozen Post-Its listing some 250 I had apparently stuck there back then (imagine how old I must be)
