Could anyone please help find out if my sentences are grammatically correct or not? I really appreciate your help!
1) I had already learned a new language; having had started out as an absolute beginner, I ended up with adequate proficiency for attending a college in only a ten months’ time.
2) Technology is impacting our life qualities more than ever, with yet much left undiscovered.

1) Having started out as an absolute beginner, only recently having learned your language in only a ten months’ time, (you might be surprised to leearn that) I nonetheless ended up with adequate proficiency to successfully attend an English-speaking college (?????)

But guys, what can we do with 'adequate proficiency'
