Oh no. Aspasia is a real-life historical character. There was a quite well-known Latvian poet[ess] (well, well-known for those who could read Latvian) in the early 20th Century who took that as her literary pseudonym. I always thought it was quite pretentious. But, then, she was also rumored to be an opium-smoking drug addict and possibly a cocaine freak. Married to an outstanding Latvian playwright and poet who used the pseudonym Rainis. (Dunno where his pen-name came from.)
