I rang my guy friend up yesterday afternoon to explain some stuff that had happened in the past. During our conversation he said that a part of him still cares. He wishes he could give me a hug and he said I was attractive. What does this mean?
The only downside to this is that he likes another girl

What do you think it means when a male tells a female he wishes he could give her a hug, and says she's attractive?
I'm going to need to ponder on this long and hard.
