Looking for the guy behind the letter...

Okay when i was little, i was very curious. I found a letter in my moms closet. This is the only piece of information that i have of my "father" i think. I have no idea who my father was and my mom claims she doesn't either. But yet this letter says that "my mom dropped news on him telling him that he had a daughter" (me) The letter is handwritten, and i have misplaced the envelope. The letter was written in the West Detention center in Toronto I phoned the number but its out of service. My mom got together with her boyfriend when i was 3. I am now almost 16 as of February. I just need to know who he is. I would be happy to show anyone the letter to help figure out who he is.
