When it comes to music these days, I ve noticed and maybe everyone does, that at the end of songs they always just start repeating the main part. For example, the song that I will post with the following link (forgive me for the atrocious choice of song to use as an example) is totally repetitive at the end from about the 3 minute mark she just keeps repeating the lyrics until the song finishes...

My question is- DO YOU LIKE THE WAY THEY CHOOSE TO BRING THESE SONGS TO AN END, BY JUST REPEATING THE MAIN PART OR DO YOU GENERALLY PREFER SONGS TO END IN A DIFFERENT WAY??? Sorry for the caps but its quiet important to me what people think of that

And I will use a different song for another example, a song of Rihanna's. Her song called Whats my name, theres I guess its call "a break" in it starting at about 2:54, you should know what I mean but you have to listen to the song from the start (I will also mention, this might not be your choice of song but things like this are used in many songs so think of a song or band you like if this song isn't the best example for you). My question this time is- Do you think this sounds good or if you had a choice would you not add the so called "break" to the song?

Please answer truthfully, it's of importance to me what people may think

Thank you

I have a strong opinion on this as I'm actually not a fan of music, and very little of it appeals to me.

One of the things that drives me to distraction is repetitive lyric in music, as well as the lyrics taking so long to just say what they want to say. Then they just say it over and over again.

So make your point, then end it.
