I just got a job for deliveries around the city and need to know where to go and where I've been. I can't seem to get where i'm going. Is there a method to use in finding address in the city? Thank you. weso
Which city?
Manhattan is laid out in a grid. Avenues go East-West, streets go North-South. Washington, DC is more like a quadrant system. Boston is laid out in more of a circular system, though it pays to know major North-South roads, like Mass. Ave., and East-West roads, like Comm. Ave.
So, I repeat, which city are we talking about?
how to use address and find where your going
The city is Bellevue, Washington
Generally, any address system is structured on a baseline, a starting point and grid from which addresses are developed. The local library should have the info you need to determine the addressing protocol applicable to your location. A local public safety facility, such as a police or fire station, also should be able to provide you with the info you need to get started.
You should be able to get a street map from your town hall.
