I haven't seen any posts by Phoenix lately. Did the storms cut her off?
There are several others who don't seem to be around lately. Nick Fun, for insatnce.
Phoenix answered a while ago a question about Roman baths. With a great link, of course.
phoenix has posted today...nick fun not so sure...
I thought I read that she was on vacation.

Yeah, but I don't know how many a2kers are missing, so here's a chance to find out.
A2k is a big enough forum for more than one thread about a subject. Concerning religion and politics, dozens of duplicates and near duplicates.

Anyway, if one thread will be delete again, we have still this thread. :-)
I haven't been around all that much lately myself, so I'm not sure who's missing.
Not to worry. I am still around. Actually, I cut out a few days before Jeanne hit, and went up to NY. In retrospect, I think that I was lucky, because I understand that my neighborhood did not have electricity for about two days.
Today I have to pick up the dozens and dozens of baby grapefruits that Jeanne blew to the ground!
Ah, gift boxes for the holidays.

That's what is wrong with this site. There's no fire in the belly.
I don't want to lose the friends I have here, so I try to make no waves. Do I want to know about my friends who no longer are allowed membership? Sure, but knowing will not bring them back.
One good friend, joannedorel, hasn't been on here lately, but I know she is simply busy.
