FB post to a page

Hi

Let's say I have a FB profile and my local Council has a FB page.

Sometimes I post items to their page including photos.

When I do, I receive the message that they must approve my post before they publish it on their page.

Later they do approve it and it appears.

Other times, whilst waiting for their approval, I get notifications from my friends they 'liked' my post on the Council's page but when I visit the Council's page my post is not there.

Why is this?
