What a great friggin' way to start the day.

Here I am, reading something msolga had written (this happened 15 minutes ago) and all of a sudden I hear this alien sound, kind of like the death scream of a rabbit, except a bit more subdued. I glance up the stairs and here comes my cat, bounding down the stairs, and I swear to God she was on some sort of demonic mission because she raced directly to where my foot stuck out from the side of the desk and threw up a large unsightly glob of brown granular gunk. Directly on top of my white sock!

I almost threw up myself. Man, that was disgusting.

My sock is now in the garbage can and I spent 10 minutes scrubbing my foot.

Can anyone top that for a day starter?

Gus maybe God thought it was time you cleaned your feet so he used your cat as a messenger.

It is a cosmic sign that you have lost the mandate of heaven - soon the capybaras will expectorate on you, the loris seek to strangle you - and then, slowly rising from the unutterable depths, the squid shall wrap you in its irresistible, final embrace - and drag you to the lair of the Kraken, where you shall be violated, and eaten.

Have a nice day!!!

The cat's just puzzled...it's saying "You f*#k me once, then no card, no flowers, no call, no extra fancy feast.....I'm hurting here Gus".......this is a cry for help....you can't treat her that way....

Capybaras, cows, ducks, geese, pigs, an occasional ferret, yeah, those I do, Bear.

But I stay away from the cats.

Thanks for the theory though.

msolga, your query provided me the impetus to check on the cat. I went into the furnace room and discovered several more piles of the aforementioned matter.

Now I'm feeling ill again.

Thank you kindly.

Hell, I was just asking about the cat, Bear. I happen to be very fond of cats.

I have just returned from upstairs. I went to check on the cat, just so msolga will calm down a little.

The cat was stretched out on the wood floor, basking in a swath of sunshine. She looked at me, blinked, and then returned to her nap.

Mind you, that was one of few my sincere posts, Bear. The other 99% tend to be sneaky, dishonest & leave much to be desired.
