Do you have access to English tv? That would be a good start, because many learn English in that manner.
Also, when the opportunity arrises to speak English, always use it.
When our children were young, I used to take them to a bookstore, and told them they are welcome to buy comic books if they wished.
Your request shows you know the basics of the language; they have a subject and a verb.
