Friend disappeared from FB Chat Sidebar

Hmm, might be privacy settings or chat settings.

We've checked both of those settings, but may be missing something. Do you have a direction you can point us in?

Truth is, I'm kinda stumped. As I recall, you can mark someone as a 'close friend'/you want to see their posts first.

Understand that FB is constantly moving stuff around and so it is exceptionally hard to give anyone good directions for where to find settings.

But I would suggest giving FB social signals to tell it you want to chat with this friend, and that can include adding them as 'close', etc.

The problem is that she isn't appearing anywhere. When I search in "Find Friends" her name comes up, but when I click on it I get the following message.
"We couldn't find anything for Holly Ulrey Bell"

I think I'm doing this right...

Under "Prioritize who to see first", which is set to "all", I see my friends. Holly isn't there, so I can't put her at the top or add her as close.

Do you have mutual friends who can see both of your accounts?

I asked another friend to see if she could find Holly as we have no mutual friends, but she couldn't find her either.

Does Holly have her settings fully public?

what setting is she using (under privacy shortcuts) for "who can contact me?"
