I have trouble with participial construction, could u help me with it?
original sentence: He quit the job, since it was not challenging enough for him.
Can I rewrite this sentence as: He quit the job, it not being challenging enough for him. Is it correct? Or how to correct it?
Thanks for your help!

This is fine, alternatively "He quit the job, it being not challenging enough for him", or "He quit the job, it being insufficently challenging for him".
