I have an essay due Monday and I need help here is the essay prompt-
Define and explain the critical lens that applies to your story. Discuss it in relation to the characters theme and plot of the story. Results in 6 paragraphs.
Can someone give me ideas on what the critical lens can be and give me at least three examples from the story? Thanks!

I wouldn't be here if I hadn't done that already. I suck at analyzing stories and pulling out deep meanings which is why I'm asking for help.

You may suck at this sort of assignment, however you should give it your best try. After doing so, present a sample of your work here and people will be better able to advise.
