Is my friend with benefits relationship ever going to evolve into something else?

Right now I'm in a friends with benefits relationship with who I believe is my best friend. The problem is Im really into him now. The relationship started because there has always been sexual tension between us. (we started kinda dating, then we ended things, then we became really close friends) Although we only have made out I'm considering going all the way because I really believe we will eventually end up together!

Guys please tell me what you think. I know this is the typical case of the guy that doesn't want any serious with me and is just using me. But really consider the fact that he genuinely cares for me and will do a anything to keep me by his side. My theory is that he doesn't believe in compromise and doesn't want to give us an official title.(his parents divorced recently and he keeps saying everyone cheats.) When we are together nothing else matters! We both now we made the perfect "click"

It's possible in this case. I know that kind of answer leaves you right where it started, but there's just no guarantees.

I'd pick a friend over a lover any day. Why push? Just enjoy.

If it happens, it happens. If not, a best friend is a treasure not to be wasted.

Then don't call it a FWB relationship. That suggests that you are having sex.

You are just beginning a nice relationship. Why not just let it run its course?

Take it slow. Show him that you are not a cheater, since that is a hurt he has from seeing his folks go thru a divorce.

May I ask your ages?

Can you tell us your status, whether or not you're married or div. and/or he is married or div. Do you have any children or does he? Are you planning to have a family in the future or is he?

Im 19 and he's 21. And yea i'm trying to take it slow, but the problem is when we first met we immediately hit it off kinda dating then we broke things up and agreed to stay as just friends. But theres too many feelings between us to stay that way.

I'm 19 and he's 21. Neither of us is married and yes I plan to have a family in the far future. So does he.

you need to sort things out here

friends with benefits means sex without a relationship

you're currently not having sex with the guy and you're not in a relationship either

you need to talk to him about how he sees things in the future
