Lets say the fact that I didn't buy a lottery ticket last year is not nearly as important as my contention that my purchase of this year's ticket under new circumstances far exceeds any vrejoicement by the masses in my win

...while incidentally, that's the way A2k Edit spells it

Not to get annoying but there are six options here.

A. No lottery exists. Therefore no ticket to purchase. Winning impossible.

B. A lottery exists. You never buy a ticket. Winning highly unlikely.

C. A lottery exists. Someone buys you a ticket. It doesnt win.

D. A lottery exists. You buy a ticket. You dont win.

E. A lottery exists. Someone buys a ticket for you. You win.

F. A lottery exists. You buy a ticket. You win.
