The images that I'm getting are darker than they should be. I checked out display in my control panel. It gives info on contrast but not brightness. Is there anything I can do?
Please bear in mind that I'm a computer idiot. Please don't use technical terms.

If you have a Mac, click on the apple on the top left of the screen. Click on System Preferences, and you'll see the link to change the lighting on your monitor.

I did a lot of poking around. Somehow I increased the brightness. I don't know what I did. I hope I don't have to do it again.

Rob, a really good q and hope we get a response. I yusta know how but have forgotten. I vaguely remember some sort of symbol in a strip at the top
